This song began as a love story about a man who finally surrendered to love, and the woman who never gave up on him. I find these types of songs a bit more challenging to write because you have to fit a whole story into just a few verses. It makes every word that much more important. This song features a beautiful piano part played by Scott Joyce (Tracy Lawrence).
