This song explores lost love. Most of us have been there at some point in life. I had these lyrics lying around for a long time before putting them to music. The song features a very emotional fretless bass part played by Mai Leisz (David Crosby). The lap steel was played again by Greg Leisz. Jake Reed (Katy Perry) added the driving drum track behind the song. Tania Hancheroff (Rascal Flatts) added the finishing touch to this track with a wonderful backing vocal.
